If Apollo and Seamless have been scraping data without paying for it - I can understand why LinkedIn has shut them out. Of course, I was in the process of learning Apollo as a potential lead gen platform and just learned of this. So - where do I go now? The service seems very affordable, I already have some time invested in it. Do I keep on with Apollo - or can you recommend some other platforms? (My best client ever came from a cold email I sent to him.) Thanks! Dennis
Regarding the ban of Apollo & Seamless, as this article is 2 months old. The reality is, LinkedIn Banned Apollo's pages and there was widespread worry about the functionality.
Apollo's CEO says that their data is fine, as they use multiple sources for that. This post from a month ago adds some more info:
And, with the companies I work using Apollo, they didn't have any serious issues.
I would not exclude Apollo from my techstack if I were you, depending on your use case, it might be a good opportunity to review other options as well.
Do you have a link to a list of any recommended alternatives? I am a small micro operation so budget to start is also small. Thanks! dennis@deangroupmedia.com
Lemlist is a bit clunky, and medium priced but does the work for further enrichment ok.
If you are looking to automate ABM, you probably need expensive tools like Apollo, Clay, RB2B, or 6Sense. Those also offer intent signals, but my hunch is you don't need them, those are for enterprise teams.
I am running Lemlist right now, it takes some getting used to but does the work.
https://we-connect.io/ worked wonders for LinkedIn when I run it for 3 clients last year, but also has it's issues. A bit cheaper though, and for LinkedIn you need a premium Sales navigator as well.

What are you trying to do? Account enrichment, find emails, phones, profiles?
For example, if you are just looking emails, Hunter.io might be great for small budgets.

If you are doing it manually it's Hunter.
